Can Quick Fix reuse Kodak Professional when used with a roll of Tmax 100?
If payment in Kodak Rapid Fix for Professional fix Kodak Tmax 100 films, I, having done the review, paid for container fixing or should I throw. Someone told me that the film is Kodak fixer exhausted and after a calendar is not as powerful. Thank you.
Rapid Fix can (and should) be reused as far as is depleted. Note that the goal of fixative remove the unexposed silver emulsion, so the money is accumulated Set as it is used and reused. That the accumulation of money, has two consequences. First Instead, delayed action, configuration, you must have more time to roll back the film (or prints paper in the case of fixative). Second, money is stored in the fixative may then occur if the fixer can be reused many times. The aim should be to determine when the fixator was used up the point that should be used. Manufacturers recommend a capacity of scavengers – or the number of rolls of chemicals per unit volume, or number of impressions 8×10 per unit volume. This number is probably conservative (you can probably squeeze a bit more through chemicals), but many photographers prefer to adopt a more cautious approach and eliminate problems before they reach the limit. You can buy (or make) a test chemical fixative that can be used to determine if the patch is exhausted. Edwal HypoCheck is a unique brand. With Fix classical, place a drop of fixative HypoCheck – if you can see a precipitate, then the fixative is exhausted. With a quick solution, you should take a small sample of this review, add a drop of HypoCheck and shake. If it is cloudy, it is exhausted. When processing the film, another way to determine whether it has exhausted the review is to determine how long it takes to clear the film. The time off more gradually along the fixative used, the normal rule of thumb is that when compensatory time is twice the time with fresh fixative, it is exhausted. Another point – and this can be that the person who tells him to use fixative "shot" is – T-grain films like T-Max exhaust fixer faster than conventional film. This does not mean you should use a shot, but it does mean that you can not push the wheel of many grain film has a certain amount of fixative, as you can if you use classic films such as Tri-X or HP-5.
