Photo Darkroom Chemicals

Help with home darkroom setup?
I have a temporary darkroom space in a spare bedroom at home. The room is “light-tight” as I close all the window shutters, develop at night, and use a safelight. The Durst B30 enlarger I bought seems to be working. I bought photo chemicals from ultrafineonline.com, and it seems to me like they should work. To try it all out, I exposed some test strips under the enlarger with the negative image showing up on the easel/test strips, and put them in the developer for the suggested full length of time, but no image appeared. The strips came out completely blank. I tried different settings on the enlarger and tried exposing the paper for a longer time but that didn’t make a difference. I can’t figure out what the problem may be, whether it’s the enlarger, the chemicals, etc.? I’m really not sure. Do you have any thoughts as to what can be the matter and how to fix it? Thanks. Any thoughts/advice would be very much appreciated.
This may sound silly, but are you putting the paper into the easel the right way up ie: emulsion side up. If you are exposing the paper for the correct length of time and your chemistry is the right temp and dilution, you should get an image. Good luck with your next attempt!.
