Film Developing Photo

Film Developing Photo
if give a photo developer my film rolls can they find out what is on them without developing them??

please answer quickly

No…. Film has crystals of silver nitrates that when exposed to light, darken..A developer is needed to chemically “see” or make visible these darkened crystals.. However, the film is still sensitive to light so a fixer, a mild acid, is used to take away all the rest of the un-exposed silver crystals and ‘fix’ or make no longer light sensitive the remaining crystals. What you see on developed film is actually the ‘tarnish’ or black smudge silver can make when it – tarnishes..

In daylight all raw film is virtually opaque, exposed or not, and by looking at the film #1 – it and any images it held are ruined, gone, kaput for ever.. and #2 – you couldn’t tell if the film was exposed or not anyway…
